Project details :Annual programme of Samprotik (North) was held this year as like as other previous years. This was 35 years of this club. At around 10.30 am. "Sit & Draw competition" started there. Many competitors were present there for this competition. Dr. Minakshi Gangopadhyay was present there as a chief guest. She gave a valuable speech and told about how to develop this programme in the future. After the competition was over Dr. Minakshi Gangopadhyay distributed consolation prize to the competitors.At the end of a programme she distributed Glucose andToothpaste to all the children on behalf of Maya Foundation.
Why we are:Maya Foundation is always step forward for social bonding and enhances the child's integration. The children are the best medium to giving a message for socio bonding. Maya Foundation always believes in social integration within the children.

Details: This competition was held for two days. On first day, we registered our name as a competitor 11.30 am. Our participators arrived at 12.45pm at the venue. They dressed in different colors for dance programme. This competition started at1.30 pm. and our competitors ended their dance performance at 5pm.Whole programme completed at 6.30 pm. On the second day, we registered our name as a competitor 11.25 am. Our participators arrived at 12.55pm at the venue. Our stage no. was 7. This competition started at1.30 pm. and our competitors ended their dance performance at 6.45pm.Prize distribution ceremony started straight after the programme. Our group A and group B got memento and certificate as consolation prize for participating this programme. All the NGOs got a memento from Sishu Parivar association.
Why we are:We are always with the children's social integration, education and culture. There are no casteism amongst these underprivileged children, giving a message of socio integration and equality in sex, religion and wealth.

Project Details: OOur programme started at 5pm. Students of Unit 'A', 'B' & 'C' participated in this programme. The Officer in Charge of Ultadanga Police Station was invited as a special guest. He cut the cake to celebrate the event with the children. He was felicitated by sticks of flowers which were given by the girls of the Unit 'A'. The teachers of all three Units were also felicitated. Children of the school gave some dance and singing performances to entertain our guests. After the performances, the food packets with soft drinks were given to all guests as well as the children. The whole programme completed at 8pm.
Why we are: Maya Foundation always believe in social integration within the children and education is the best medium for giving a social message of integration. Therefore, every year like other programme, we have decided to celebrate Teachers' Day amongst these underprivileged students, giving a message of socio integration and equality.

Project details: The National Flag was hosted at 09.00am at the Phoolbagan Police Barrack Ground by the Officer-in- Charge of Phoolbagan Police Station. Children race of different age group and types were held. “Musical Chair and Matki Todo” were the other attractive events in the Annual Sports Day. The Regional HR Manager of Dabur India Limited, theOfficer-in-Charge of Phoolbagan Police Station and the local Councilor joined the programme and distributed the prizes to the winners, the first runner-up and the second runner-up of every event, with attractive gifts. The Cricket match started at 12.00pm followed up by three consecutive matches amongst the three teams. The enthusiasms of these children were to remember; in every ball we notice some extra efforts as if they were playing in a big tournament. They have designed jersey of each team separately and given a different identification name for each team. After the final match, every player was felicitated with medals. The winning team got the Winner's Trophy and the first runner-up got the Runner-upTrophy. The winner team was gifted with a cricket bat and one set of stumps. The best bowler, the best fielder and the best scorer got separate trophy individually. All the participants of the Annual Sports, the Cricket Matches and the Guests were given cooked food packets.
Why we are: Maya Foundation has always believed in social bonding amongst all the class of people in the society. The children and the youth are the best medium to reach a family for socio bonding and for these young generations, sports and cricket match are the most attractive medium.

Project details: Celebration of Saraswati Puja, arranged by the students of our Nabadisha Centre. Started at about 10am and ended at about 11am on 04 February 2014. Then the puja was accompanied by “Go as you Like” started at 11.30am and a good number of students participated in this programme. All the children alongwith the guests were served with cooked food there and those, who have not taken the food, were served with food packets. Students of our Phoolbagan Nabadisha Centre came there in the vehicle provided by the Kolkata Police and participated in this festival. They were also served with cooked food. At about 12.30pm, students of Phoolbagan Nabadisha Centre were asked to stand in a queue and then to proceed to their vehicle and were carried back to the Phoolbagan Centre. Students of Ultadanga Centre were also asked to stand in a different queue and then proceed to their respective homes. Our programme was completed at 01 pm.

Therefore, every year like other programme, we have decided to celebrate Saraswati Puja amongst these underprivileged students, giving a message of socio integration and equality in sex, caste, religion and wealth.

Details:Kolkata Police allotted a Police bus for the student of Nabadisha School and the bus came at Ultadanga P.S. at 11.30am.we along with the children of Ultadanga P.S. went to Phoolbagan P.S. The children of Phoolbagan School were waiting there for the lift. We took them alongwith us and reached RAJBHAVAN at 1.00pm. We arranged the children a line and gave each of them a fruity packet. The volunteers also were given fruity packets. Volunteers divided the children NGO wise and distributed caps to them including our Nabadisha children. Each group (NGO wise) had different color of caps. It was helpful for us to recognize children to which NGO they belong to. One gentleman named Rahulda sang a song which was highly appreciated by the children. “Magic Show” was also given them endless joy. The last programme was sports. The sports were between NGO groups only. There were various types of sports such as to catch a thief by making a chain of boys etc. At last the golden time came when our Honourable Governor Sir Shree M.K.Narayanan came there and met the children. Then the Honourable Governor Sir addressed us for few minutes and went off. At the end the fruity packets and Ice creams were distributed among the children. The Police Bus came at 4.15 pm. And our Nabadisha students lifted up the bus along with us and the bus dropped the student in Phoolbagan centre and from there to Ultadanga P.S. at about 5pm.
Why we are: MAYA FOUNDATION is always working for underprivileged children and through them giving a message of social bonding with others and looks forward for healthy future.

Details:Our coordinator and supporting staffs arrived at the Subhas Mela Prangan around 1.30pm.They arranged the necessary things ready for the programme. Sit & Draw competition started at 3pm.The competitors divided intoA, B and C groups. The children of groupAgot 1 hour for drawing and group B and group C got one and half an hour. Cake and tiffin box was given to every participator. The competition completed at 4.30 pm.Around 5 pm. The result was declared and the prizes were given to the winners at 5.30 pm. At last the children were asked to stand in a line and then they were lifted by a van to their homes.

Details:This Basanta Utsab occasion started at around 6.30pm.ConsumerAffair's minister Mr. Sadhan Pandey was the chief guest of this colorful evening. This programme started with a title song “Ore grihabasi” and after that many on road dancing programmes were done by the different age of students. This programme was very colorful and attractive to look. Food packets were given to all the students. All of the members and staffs were enjoyed with colorful thing like gulal at the end of the programme.
Why we are:Maya Foundation has always put full effort in developing socio bonding in the underprivileged sectors. In this event most of the beneficiaries were from the minority and the labour class background.

Project details:The children were invited to participate in a lunch programme which was exclusively arranged for them only. The officer -in-charge was kind enough to be present there to grace our programme. The lunch packets were sponsored by Mr. Arun Agarwal of Arvind Tower, Kolkata-700004.on the eve of happy birthday of his son. On our request, the officer-incharge of Phoolbagan Thana distributed food packets and juice pouch among children. Then children were asked to stand in a line and go back to their respective homes gently.

Details:This programme was associated by Ultadanga Anuprerna Committee. Urban shelter women were gathered before the programme had started. This programme started at 7pm. 20 women were given blankets. Swamiji from Belurmath was present there as a chief guest and he distributed the blankets among the poor women. This programme was completed around 8.30 pm.
Why we are:We are always with the poor, slum and distressed people for ensuring for better health, education&living. This kind of social bonding and integration has to be spread among the society.

Details:The students of Ultadanga and Phoolbagan Nabadisha Centres gathered infront of their respective centres at 08.00am. Community Police Wing Department allotted bus for each centre and sent the 02 busses at 09.00am to collect the students from their respective centres to the venue. The students reached the venue at 10.00am. The programme started at 10.30 am, followed up by several sports events of different age group. Students of our 02 Nabadisha Centres won 03 prizes. Variety of games like 'duck race', 'flat race' are few of them. Every participant was given food packets. At the end Musical Chair was organized for the teachers of the Nabadisha Centres. Programme was completed around 5.30pm. At last the children were taken to their home.
